This can be some of the more challenging and rewarding work, particularly for a major retail brand with a significant online presence. One cannot redo the site every time there is an issue. One thing that is always constant is the need for evolution and change, whether driven by an observation, business need, technical issue or hunch about the usability. The challenge? To iterate and improve without unintentionally making it worse or disrupting the platform.
Once a solution has been formalized, clear documentation is critical to driving adoption at scale and enabling consistency.
